The Rogan art, an anicent textile art, with its origin in Parsia, came to Nirona Village Kutch around 400 years ago. Rogan art is produced by boiling castrol oil for about two days then adding pigments miniral color and binding agent that results paint is thick and shiny. This art is monoplostic art this is done by only one family all over India. The speciallity about this showpiece is this same design was gifted to Obama by Narendra Modi. This work is done by Abdul Gafur Khatri. He got various awards like Padmashri 2019, National Award 1997, National Merit cirtificate 1988, State Award 1989 and State certificate by CM of Gujarat 2013.
